Højer Gins

HØJER GIN is made on the London Dry Gin method, where all botanicals are distilled in one process and where only filtered water has been added to adjust the alcohol percentage after distillation. The dominating botanicals are juniper, mild pepper and blackcurrant.

I have chosend this exact combination, because I have blackcurrant bushes in my garden and is very fascinated by the fact that the bush is smelling all year around. On top, when I made it, I could not find any other London Dry Gins with blackcurrant on the market.

The gin is very light with a fruity palate.

The alcohol percentage is 42 so it also can be enjoyed neat.

HØJER GIN reached a bronze medal by the IWSC gin tasting competition in 2021.

HØJER GIN BASIC is made on the London Dry Gin method, where all botanicals are distilled in one go and where only filtrated water has been added after distillation to adjust the alcohol percentage.

The dominant botanicals are juniper, red kampot pepper and citrus.

The HØJER GIN BASIC is my take on a totally classic gin, which purpose has been to make: "the gin, you always return to".

The alcohol percentage is 43.3.

The HØJER GIN BASIC reached a silver medal by the IWSC gin tasting competition in 2021 and a gold medal by the IWSC gin tasting competition in 2023

HØJER GIN NAVY BLUE is a navy strength gin produced by using the London Dry Gin process. It consists of 11 botanicals with juniper, black kampot pepper and lemon as the prominent botanicals. After distillation, the gin is watered down with crystal clear 69N water from the Icelandic glacier Eyjafjallajökull.

The idea has been to create a high-quality navy strength gin, which is crisp and traditional with a complex, but balanced taste…

The alcohol percentage is 57.1.
